Tony Award winner James Phelps will be playing Harry Potter, Noma Dumezweni will be playing Hermione Granger, and Arthur Bowen will be playing Ron Weasley.

 2D or 3D? 

While many movies are now being released in both 2D and 3D formats, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will only be available in 2D. This decision was made so that viewers would be able to appreciate Thorne’s intricate stage design fully. He told EW that “the audience deserves to see the show as it was meant to be seen — without glasses getting in the way!”
